Kelly Lasserre is a painter, illustrator and designer. A Mississippi native, she grew up in coastal Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. After many formative years of living in Baltimore, Boston, New York City, New Orleans and Philadelphia, she is now settled in Lancaster, PA with her husband and dog.
Kelly creates images about the world around her. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked on a wide range of projects for clients, creating work for books, magazines, design studios and commissions. She currently works in nonprofit design, and enjoys using her creativity to support a meaningful mission.
She also likes: floating in the ocean, British crime dramas, finding typos in books, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, hiking and all countryside adventures.
