About
Kelly Lasserre is a painter, illustrator and designer. A Mississippi native, she grew up in Massachusetts and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art. After many formative years of living in Baltimore, Boston, New York City and New Orleans, she now lives in Philadelphia with her husband and dog.
In her personal work, Kelly creates images about the world around her. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked on a wide range of projects for clients, creating work for books, magazines, design studios and commissions. Currently she is working in nonprofit design, and enjoys using her creativity to support a meaningful mission.
She also likes: floating in the ocean, British crime dramas, finding typos in books, crossword puzzles, hiking, and any other excuse to get out of the city.
