Kelly is an illustrator, painter, designer, and life-long worrier.

A Mississippi native, she grew up in Massachusetts, got her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, and lived in New York and New Orleans before landing in Philadelphia, where she now lives with her husband and small dog.

She has been creating personal paintings and drawings throughout her life, and loves bringing her brain and observations to paper and sharing it with others.

She also has an extensive background of varied work experiences, which she believes adds to her versatility and adaptability in all aspects of life and work. As a freelance illustrator, she has worked on a wide range of freelance projects for books, magazines, design studios, and private commissions, etc. A lifelong learner, she currently works in nonprofit design and project management, and appreciates using her creativity for a larger mission. She is meticulous, hard-working and compassionate in all that she does.

She also likes floating in the ocean, British crime dramas, houseplants except on watering days, finding typos in books, hiking with her dog, and lots of laughing.
